TCF Equipment Finance Expands its Capital Markets Division

MINNETONKA, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- TCF Equipment Finance ("TCFEF"), an affiliate of TCF Financial Corporation ("TCF") (NYSE:TCB), announced today the expansion of its Capital Markets division. The division will now be led by Richard Chenitz, Senior Vice President of Capital Markets. Mr. Chenitz was previously Senior Vice President of Business Development at GE Fleet Services and worked in the capital markets and business development areas of GE Capital. Mr. Chenitz joined GE in 1996 and has significant experience in both financial services and accounting, including having held prior positions at both KPMG LLP and Arthur Andersen LLP. The Capital Markets division of TCFEF will focus on portfolio and company acquisition activities as well as individual transactions on both the buy and sell side.

TCF's leasing businesses have a significant investment in equipment financing with a portfolio of $3.2 billion in loans and leases, and is recognized as the 32nd largest equipment finance/leasing company in the U.S. as well as the 15th largest bank affiliated equipment finance/leasing company in the U.S. as ranked by The Monitor.
